When macOS behave like Windows
I had to reboot my iMac this morning to fix weird issues (no sound in FaceTime calls, iCloud sync not going anywhere, etc.) And now this, after reboot. WTF. iCloud-based services can be scary. How am I supposed to fix this now. Don't tell me I have to turn off iCloud Photo Library and turn it back on. Please.

Day #3 of my Ghost experiment. I already know that I won't go ahead with this. The lack of iOS native app is a deal breaker. No free tier. Simple to setup but Micro.blog is too. I applaud the open source nature of Ghost though. But I think it is not for me.

Day #2 of my Ghost experiment. Where is the Media library? How can I re-use a previously uploaded picture in a new blog post? Another thought: the quality of the service's visual themes library contributes to its attractiveness. I found a very simple yet beautiful theme. 😎

Day #1 of my Ghost experiment. Simple CMS. Well designed. A bit desoriented at first, coming from WordPress. No iOS / iPadOS app. Not good. macOS app not really native. Relies on Zapier for basic cross-posting stuff.

Remember those waiting lines in the seventies?
When I go for a walk my mostly empty city, thanks to the long lasting confinement, I see many lines in front of different grocery stores. These are unfamiliar scenes for us.
It reminds me of when I was a young child. It was at the height of the cold war. At that time, medias were portraying communism as the bad guys. I cannot count how many times I saw in the news, scenes from USSR of people waiting in front of grocery stores to get a few vegetables and bread. It was in the seventies. And we were kind of laughing at them and their failed society. And here we are. Different cause for sure but mostly same effects.
