Tonight I was watching TV. There was so many ads. One particular ad got my attention. This was an ad about a car. In order to show how cool the car is, how useful it can be to its users, there a scene where the driver uses Siri to send a message to his wife saying he is way home. A flawless experience. For some reason, I’m back at blogging… this time on wordpress.com. Used to be on Tumblr. Prefer Wordpress by a wide margin.

People don’t want other people to look into their private conversations. But they are ok with algorithms scanning all of them. Always. I’d like to educate people about this.

I used to be active on @Medium. medium.com/@jfmartin… Stopped publishing there because of what Medium became… trying to monetize us instead of rewarding us. Hope this won’t happen here on Micro.blog.

Having a small issue with IFTTT integration with Micro.blog. Testing their customer support now. 😏👨🏻‍💻 #blogging

This morning I found out the existence of a blogging platform called Micro.blog. Something very special. Very lean. Very light. Without ads. Leaner than WordPress. Yet capable. Close to Twitter but with less clutter. I'm on a 10 days trial period. Tested the web posting interface. Tested the native macOS (light) client. Tested the iPad version too.
