I’m not a film critic but I really enjoyed One upon a time in Hollywood. Why? Because it remindedme about my childhood a lot from many perspectives: TV shows at that time, household product we use to have, cars, “electronics”, etc. Can’t wait for the Oscars night.

I think I need some help understanding these. #1: posting new content on my micro.blog can be cross posted to Twitter (Apple_Observer)? #2: new posts appearing from my main blog (WordPress feed) could be cross posted to ? I’m confused. Any hints? Thanks 🙏🏻

To all content creators: RSS feeds as facilitators, use them!
My goal as a blogger is to get people read my stuff. RSS feeds are a way to help users access my content. Trying to be protective is counterproductive for me. The idea is to remove friction to the users. If they want to read via Reeder for example, why not! On that note, If a website doesn’t provide an RSS feed, which is sad, I’m let interested to stay in touch. Continue reading →

Do you remember webclips with Apple’s macOS dashboard? I wish we could do the same and embed a webclip for display in iPadOS widgets. Is this possible to develop an iPad app that does just that? Asking for a friend. #iosdev #apple #ipados

Imperfection is good!
I love this idea of aiming for the imperfections in photography. In the age of hyper processed and over saturated images where they more or less seems to come from the same photographer, imperfect images will give you personality, a visual distinctive look. Here is a good and possible tweak to iPad multitasking, one that I can imagine Apple implementing. These contextual menus shouldn’t remove gestures though as it provides a great power user feature. #apple #ipad #ipados A Fix for iPad Multitasking - MacStories

Here is an insider note, from a blogger. Each and every single morning, I spend about 45-60 minutes doing things related to my blog: writing, reading, researching, bookmarking, designing, thinking. Every single day. It’s a passion I guess. #blogger #bloggerlife #writing 👨🏻💻😎

Is it good for developers or for Apple? Devs prefer to sell two versions (one for iOS, the other for macOS) instead of only one… right? #iosdev #apple Apple adds ability for developers to sell Mac and iOS apps as a single purchase - 9to5Mac

Eventually I’ll have to make a decision. Feature wise, design wise: one of them provide a satisfactory solution. None. And I’m not even talking about pricing. ☹️

From iOS 13.4 beta 1. Amen. Here is a simple question: who thought it was a good idea to redesign the toolbar of Mail.app in iOS 12? Now Apple changed his mind and reverted the redesign introduced in iOS 13. #apple

Yes, @Gruber can be critical to Apple
Who said that @gruber can’t have a critical view of Apple? From his report card; Mac: D. Ouch. He doesn’t like the keyboard and macOS Catalina. iPad: D. Cause: software, again. Apple TV: D. Software. Again. I do agree with Catalina security being too strict and the lack of a more “relaxed mode”. daringfireball.net/2020/02/m… Continue reading →
