I’ve been playing with Substack in recent days and boy this platform is different now compared to its initial launch. I’m not coming to write there but I do want to read more content there, a few times a week.

Today I experimented Slack Lists to track messages for which I want to make sure to get a response. It’s pretty useful. But I still don’t really like Slack in general🤦🏻‍♂️. The included screenshot is not from my own list but a template provided by Slack, just to give you an example.

I’m currently testing a new blog post editor on Micro.blog. On the surface, everything looks familiar. The preview button behaviour is the one that surprised me the most as it replaces the blog post content with the preview, unlike before where the preview was underneath. Not having “auto-save” functionality is still a bit troubling to me, in 2024, though.

When I read the Threads app data privacy fact sheet on the App Store yesterday night and read a few « reviews », I quickly came back to earth and decided (again) to not join Threads. Time to focus on what I already have.

At the very least, I could reserve my username on Instagram and Threads, just in case. While maintaining strong principles is important, being open-minded and reasonable can also be valuable. May the night be beneficial. 😒

If I get it well, each iOS 18.1 beta release will be a few days later than each iOS 18.0 betas, provided that iOS 18.1 gets all the fixed and features in iOS 18.0, right? But public betas will be a week later for each iOS 18 branch release? Or iOS 18.1 branch will be devs only? Still with me? 🤪

If I set my iPad to use US English so that Apple Intelligence can do its magic, my iPhone is also set to use the same settings automatically. What?? What is going on here?

I want to use my iPad in full US English for Apple Intelligence testing but leave my iPhone alone so that I can use it in French Canadian is the old Siri stuff. 😳😔😡
