I visited the Apple West 14th Street Apple Store this past weekend in New York City. As usual, the store was packed with people. However, one thing caught my attention: there was no one at the Apple Vision Pro tables. Despite being at the peak of their support, those devices felt quite lonely and unappealing. How long will Apple keep those devices for sale?

Walked 20KM, 28000 steps. Feeling exhausted. 😓 But I still love NY, 9 years since my previous trip in June, 2015.

Seeing people use their iPhone camera to take pictures and videos of a show and I think there is no tweak or improvement that Apple can do to the camera control to beat on-screen controls. Apple brought a gimmicky feature to the iPhone.

I found a font that I like a lot: Dosis. This will be the official font for my future consulting company. I find it to be a mix of modernism and retro style. Easy to read. Singular.

The iPhone 16’s back seems prone to scratching. I saw it today at the Apple Store. But I like this year’s colors.

**Apple Watch backups** are not working, they never did. This is what I see on my iPhone now, two old backups, once probably worthless because of it ridiculous small size. Another proof: after unpairing my Series 6 this morning before going to the Apple Store to get a credit for it[^1], no sign of new backups in the Watch.app. Big fail Apple. We are at Series 10 / iOS 18 for fuck sake! [^1]: I'm upgrading to Series 10.
