Random thoughts after watching OpenAI’s keynote today and reading AI news in general.

I don’t trust the big AI players — especially Meta and OpenAI — to regulate themselves, because I don’t trust their leaders.

I don’t want any anthropomorphization of AI. OpenAI’s little dot puppets, which reminds me of Clippy, is a big no for me. I don’t want any sort of gamification either.

I know it’s time for younger generations to take over, but this isn’t the right path to follow.

Live demos with still-in-early-beta services, or any fake demos, might not be the best way to help people build trust in AI apps or services… ask Apple.

I didn’t buy into any of what OpenAI put forward today, especially many of their fake use cases. These scenarios here are ludicrous.
