Microsoft is putting the “Copilot” tag everywhere… even on Microsoft 365 which will become Microsoft 365 Copilot. It’s fascinating to see a company like to playing with the branding of its services.
Torb @numericcitizen I feel like Microsoft have always littered it's branding with whatever they're obsessed with at the moment.
When they started with the .NET framework they called everything .NET like for exampl their universal login system (making the term confusing).
365 represents their obsession with software as a service, I think it was limited to Office at some point.
I even think they called a bunch of non-windows things ”Windows [INSERT PRODUCT HERE]” as well.
So no surprise they're doing it with Copilot. Pretty silly strategy though. It really waters down the brands.
