  • Yep. 😎

  • On my last flight heading back to Montreal. This is where, for me, the iPad shines. Hey @manton look carefully at what is on my iPad screen… 👀 Ask @jean, she will explain to you what I’d like to do eventually with you.

  • Apple Should Introduce FlightPlay™

Recently, while on a flight with United from Tenerife to Newark, I played with the infotainment screen in front of me. These infotainment systems really improved in recent years. Screens are bigger, speed is much faster, and interaction has improved quite a bit. Some of these systems look like … read more

  • It took Adobe Lightroom on my iPad Pro all morning to upload all my 350 photos to Adobe’s cloud. That is SLOWWWW! How does semi-pro photographers (or even amateurs) endure this? My upload experience always has been consistently slow with Adobe’s products. Am I alone?

  • Two used, two more to go. I accidentally dropped my Apple Pencil on the floor while getting my iPad in a security tray at the airport. Just like for toasts, they always fall on the wrong side. 😩

  • Back home. 😀 I have so many things to work on. It’s a typical return from vacation mood.

  • There is a lot to say about this new terminal A. Chairs with integrated cup holders, accessible charging ports (USB-A, USB-C, std power outlet), big information display panels with clear directions, easy to ear speakers, etc. I love this place! Remaining problem: too low temperature everywhere we go in the US. They are crazy to set temperature at 70-72F. It is fucking too cold!!! And not environmentally friendly.

  • Each passage in an airport is a reminder of how useful Flighty can be.

  • Surprisingly useful during travel. This is Series 8 with watchOS 10 beta 4.

  • If all goes well today, I should be able to make it to a site with many abandoned buildings. this could be a great photo opportunity. This would be the first site outside Canada where I practice urban exploration (aka “urbex”). Feeling excited. 😀

  • Yesterday, we went to visit the botanical garden of Puerto De La Cruz forgetting to bring my big camera with me, only with my iPhone. At first, I was wary that I would miss photo opportunities, but in the end, that wasn’t the case. Judging by the initial view of my photos, the iPhone wonderfully met the challenge. This garden was definitively a place for macro-photography! BTW, if you ever visite Tenerife, it’s a great place to visit and it is damn cheap.

  • Just for you! Right from Santa Cruz! 😂 @maique !!

  • Today’s plan: going to the beach and then visit Santa Cruz. I’m not a “beach boy” but I’ll spend the time exploring the beach surroundings and do some photography while they relax under the sun.

  • If you take more than two flights per year, Flighty becomes a must-have, IMO. What a great app. So many things could be said about it. Not cheap, though. Quality and craftsmanship have a price.

  • Seems a good time to fly! 😀

  • Pixelfed is way more interactive and busier than Glass. My feeling is that the federative nature of Pixelfed helps be discovered. This is something Glass developers should consider if they want to expand their reach, IMHO.

  • Introducing Patron! glass.photo/highlights/introdu

    Reader: mastodon.world

I decided to support Glass as a patron because I think these alternatives are important. They help create some sort of equilibrium. It’s the same reason I’m investing my time migrating 95% of my photos into Pixelfed. I believe in the open web and in honest alternatives like Glass. More than ever we need them.

  • (…) the best way to improve your photography is to focus on your ideas, not your technique or gear Source: About — CJ Chilvers

I couldn’t agree more. To everyone who came up to me and asked what camera they should buy to start their photography journey, my answer always has been this one: Don’t focus on the camera model and let’s start discussing possible photo subjects.

  • The Beginning of My Journey to Midjourney

“A man sitting in front of a retro computer doing some important work”. 👀 This is my first ever prompt sent to Midjourney. I think this image is an excellent representation of my current state. A guy experimenting with Midjourney in front of my computer. I’m blown away. What a … read more

We’re wrapping up the final touches on our AI-powered Search beta that we’ll be releasing soon to Early Access. Early Access is an included perk for a new level of Glass membership that we’re announcing soon. Once we’ve tested it thoroughly over the coming months, it’ll be released to everyone. In other words, Glass will add another subscription level where you’ll get pre-release features for testing. Subscriptions are not enough. Now we must pay to be beta testers. Great. 🤦🏻‍♂️
