The Internet in 2020. Can you see the problem? I don’t know what they think when they “design” these web sites but… and what you don’t see is a giant popup pushed on you taking over the only portion of actual information. GTFO of these sites, fast.

Remember when we used to write « this year is the year of Linux »? 🤔
With the Magic Keyboard, 2020 is the year when iPad is a real laptop replacement. 😳🤷🏻♂️

Just Made an Unexpected Discovery
Oh. My. God. 😳😍 How on earth I wasn’t aware about this great utility for macOS: CleanShot X? Fully featured, cleanly designed, with a lot of use cases for me. A cross between Apple’s builtin screen capture and Screencast. Instant buy. Side note: I never bought that many apps since the beginning of the great confinement. Second side note: it isn’t an ad. 🤷🏻♂️ CleanShot X for Mac Continue reading →

A great summary of Ulysses version 19 release by MacStories. As a blogger, I’m loving Ulysses more and more. 😃 Ulysses 19 Brings iPad Cursor Support, External Folders, Material Sheets, and More - MacStories

Speaking of iPadOS 13.4 with pointer support… my favourite writing app Ulysses just received an update. Using the trackpad to swipe left and right to show or hide panes is brilliant. 🥰
-
Using LumaFusion with the Magic Keyboard is really cool but I can’t wait for the updated version that takes advantage of the trackpad. Oh and editing 4K videos on an iPad Pro is incredibly fast! 🙃

The Magic Keyboard makes me want a bigger iPad. But at the same time I know I would miss the smaller size. Oh well.

So spot on. This is the beauty of the iPad. #apple #ipadpro #magickeyboard

I’m getting good numbers on @Medium as an indie writer. But as much as I like it so far, I’m not sure they always do a great job of selecting which theme or channel a story is being pushed over. Do they look at the categories the author selects?

To FaceTime users, did your usage of it increased because of your confinement? If not, why? What are your pain points with FaceTime as it is today? Working on a blog post about this. Thanks.

Question of the day: have you ever wondered why FaceTime settings are not located in iCloud settings? Working on a special blog post related to FaceTime.

This is why I chose “transformative accessory” in my blog post reviewing the Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro. Happy to see it is seen that way by others too.

Interesting “study” posted on BirchTree blog. From my personal experience, since iPadOS 13.4: using a mouse or a trackpad and a keyboard certainly drains more power than using the iPad alone. birchtree.me

Interesting. When an application is not multithreading but scales by adding instances, using an Hypervisor like VMware ESXi helps make it look like “multithreaded” on one computer. twitter.com
A condemnation of every programmer who faced multi-threaded programming and said OMG

The transition from Intel-based Mac to ARM-Based machines will be the most interesting thing happening technologically, marketing-wise in the world of Apple since a long time. I’m working on a very special blog post. Not ready yet to share any details except this: I’m slowly transitionning to 2FA for my most critical numeric services. Using Authy.

Five years. Already. I’m still delighted by this product. Currently on Series 4 and looking forward for Series 6. #applewatch twitter.com/imranchau…

My upcoming review of the **Apple’s Magic Keyboard** for the iPad Pro is a little bit shy of 2000 words. Who knew. Coming out shortly.
