The Mac is in no way a game platform. Should we give a shit if EPIC is kick out of Apple’s ecosystem? Is the vast majority of serious gamers moved to consoles anyway AND PCs? I mean, seriously, we are talking about fraction of % here, aren’t we?

BREAKING: Adobe Lightroom CC 5.4 Users - Data Loss

Major issue affecting Adobe Lightroom CC users at version 5.4: the cloud-based photo procesing software. Users affected by the bug lost portion or all their photo library (I’m not one of those, thanks god!). According to an Adobe statement: We know that some customers have photos and presets that are not recoverable. We sincerely apologize to any customers who have been affected by this issue.

Ouch. In other words: Adobe says: fuck you. That’s the price of cloud-based storage services (on top of the monthly payment). No service is immute to this. I’m still not sure that I like macOS 11 Big Sur, after all. Is it too much iOS? Is it too different from the past? Those menus and dialog box are just strange. Is macOS a misfit in the Apple landscape? I cannot put my finger on it. #macosbigsur #apple
